Friday, Rushing Hours!!!

Morning start work in the production.. Afternoon went deliverying books frm kallang to defu to Tanglin to Tanjong Pagar then back to Jurong for my company CNY dinner.. Racing with Time!!

Dinner was rather simple tis yr.. but different frm the past.. Piggy banks display items were filled with coins and dollar notes for the workers to choose frm.. then by being the 1st 3 to count how much does their piggy bank has, entitled to another big ang bao.. many of them took a long time to took out all the $$$ frm tat hole below the item. haaa.. 1st was Huat, with his wife helping him.. then i think is hwee.. then i dunno..haha.. as long everyone has something, good enuff.. 2 long service medals were given out too.. congrats to them..after tat dinner started with Yu Sheng.. then the more common dishes..
Tat place has a live band stage, u can buy tickets to go up and sing song . Each ticket costs $4.. Beside tis makan place, is a fishing Prawn area. Once dinner ended, few of us went to try out prawning.. haha.. got 5 attempts to prawn it out.. but only the last one i succeeded. As time is up so no more time for me to prawn...Overall is pretty fun and at least i did caught one.. haha..

Back home.. mummy cooked the prawns with maggie mee.. supper for me!! tml i be going for my 1st oversea voluntarily mission.. going there to take photographs too.. hence i got another big bag for my equipment.. thanks to the tripod or else my load is lighter.. looking forward to capture lotsa of touching photos and kids and photos of the kind hearted souls.. and scenery if possible.. wish me fun n safe!!

One friend going to Thailand in the morning too..hope she will have fun and shop alot!!

Exciting Weekend coming!! and pray hard tat work place doesnt have any hiccups , pray everything is sound and safe in the production.. dun want to receive calls and kanna diu.. haha

Juz a Short one... Tat delicious pasta plus juice plus wine plus mango = miracle.. waking up with my flu 90% recovered!!! weee!!! feel so short but my throat still pain @ times.. sigh.. oh well..

Sickness is sticking to me.. block nose is the most uncomfy..follow by having fluid flowing out frm nose then will be sneezing non stop.. FLU sux big time!! coz flu causes u to have sore throat and have the fluid tat produce in ya nose system... sorry, i dun have the scientific terms for those. :P
After sore throat, u get cough and cough with "fhemph". Lastly will be fever. Glad that cough n fever nv came.

After work, I die die have to meet Terence as he will be leaving next tue and tis coming weekend i will be in Tanjung Pinang for voluntarily work (believe it or not) .. yeah my 1st time going for such event.. So i not sure if i could have anymore time to meet him.

So we met @ bugis as he and armit were doing some CNY shopping. I brought them to my fav Pasta resturant known as Sketch Pasta and Wine in Bugis Junction. Despite feeling horrible with the flu, i decided one way to feel better is to eat wat i crave for so tat i be happier, body will stronger to fight the virus. As usual, i designed my own starving size Pasta known as Mambo.. while Terence did one too and named it Dick. Armit.. err.. better not say..haha..well he oso design one pasta too.. Advanced Spicy somemore..haha.. While waitin for the food, i saw their promotion drink which give u antibodies and detoxification and healthier. So i ordered one for myself , hoping that it is really that powerful.

Waitress came with 2 pasta.." Mambo?" "Dick?" (Mambo Dick).. haha.. Think the waitress oso know why we were laughing when she served.. ooops

While eating halfway, terence wanna a white wine.. soi joined him with a red wine. Since i am so sick, tml juz take MC la and i wasnt driving hence can afford to drink. So i got a warm glass of water, a detoxication juice and a red wine. Wah.. tat really heavy for me. Hope can create some miracle tml.

After dinner, headed to oppositie for the Ritz Apple Sturdies.. i ate mango and love it, anyway is my 1st time there.. think i probably try the durian next visit. Alright tat perhaps the last night i will see Terence till his next holiday, and Armit drove me home 1st then they headed back home... Thanks guys..

Today.. hmmm.. how shld i start.. is a great sunday as i was sleeping with my air con on..coz i have not been using it for the past whole week.. reason behind is to save $$$ in electrical bill.. wanna see wats different can tis action does to my PUB bills. Anyway, without aircon, i still sleep well and it was pretty windy over the last few nights.

Got up ard 1pm.. get back all the hours i needed to rest for the week. Went out with Andy for basketball. We must admit, we aint tat fit compare to army daze. There we go again, chatting abt the glory days we had in army. Is a nice thing to do, looking back all the shit we gone through, the fun things we did. Glad i din downgrade, if not i will miss all the fun we had. Having a big grp of khakis to do things together than slacking in the office doing clerk or wat. One thing to be grateful for is god giving me a healthy body to live with.

Suppose to meet Dinesh, another army mate, after tat but he was MIA.. damn.. he going back australia few days time.. sigh.. cannot even see him..hope can see him soon b4 he leave

So i meet Joreis who stay nearby me.. a gal standing 17xcm tall.. yeah..she is tall..but i am tall too..haha.. simple dinner n little catch up.. and was tempted to buy haigen daz ice cream with her..but i feeling abit sick and be on diet.. haha.. she recommended: Tiramisu, Strawberry Cheese Cake n Green Tea flavor..

Back home and finally got some time to chat with Jiejie Eveline..
For Chinese New Year , family decision will be going to malacca to have fun and visit my sis in law family. Hurray!!

Before going malacca, i be going to tanjung pinang to do some voluntneer work.. Going to be photographer for the group. Something which i been wanting to try. Shooting at villagers with kids who loves to be shot on photos. Showing their laughter n happiness even though they live in the not so good environment. Will be going along with Henmond. Hope will be a fun n experiencing trip.

Long n hectic working saturday..

Work as usual.. went to meet client , TM. Got a job frm them..all the best for us!!

Then took abit of time, went to SPCA to check out the place since is nearby my client place.

Got 2 labradors dogs up for adoption, both different character. One of it, Alex, is very active and friendly. Other, Justor, quiet and dun seems friendly. Maybe Justor missed his ex owner and hence feeling down n juz wanna be alone. Both looks beautiful, golden white fur and healthy.

Too bad we had too many dogs @ factory and SPCA dun allow adopted dogs to be in factory. If u wanna adopt any dogs, they will send ppl to ya house to do an interview and survey on ya environment before letting u to adopt the dog back. Tis is a pretty good rule to me. Hope the dogs there could have a good family to adopt them n bring them happy times.

Went back to factory n continue to do payroll.. numbers.. hours.. $$$.. ahhhh...

Waited till 7pm, went to another client's company annual dinner.. pretty interesting there. Big factory with open spaced being set up with tentage and a live band stage. Machiam like Gei Tai.

The dinner dishes was fantastic and i think got 12 dishes all together. Had the 1st YU SHENG for tis year there. Still love the crispy stuff. haha..

The event was hosted by an entertainment company, they have very good host, singers n band. The singers vocal are good! there was a 14yr old gal, sound like a 30 yr old lady, singing like a professional. If juz by listening to her vocal, u nv know is a 14 yr old kid. Amazing!!

There was this singer who was once a jockey, becoz of one singing competition, he become popular singer during the early days. Most songs tat were sang are hokkien. The inhouse host who was an indian, sang a old classic cantonese song. He sang it well and got my thumbs up!!

Well, sad thing was, went home without winnning any lucky draw prizes.. sigh.. oh well.. not easy to get picked anyway. Only time i got my lucky draw picked as 1st prize was back in few yrs back during Telcom DnD. My table won alot of prizes. i got a enzer hi fi system!! weee!! luckiest day of my life!!

Is Friday!!.. end of working week.. but still have to work on sat.. however, still need to spend time to have some entertainment with my secondary sch friends, terence armit n company..

After work, went to Cineleisure to try the E2Max.
Booked a room which has LAN GAMING and XBOX facilities. Pretty cool!! If u wanna rent a room for juz watching DVD oso no problem. Charges are still quite affordable i would said.
Bought along some drinks in as "punishment" for the losing teams/person in the games we played. Since i did not drive here, i have reason to drink!! Finally played DOTA since my poly days ended. Well, is juz like 3 corridors map, nothing special. Just need to be fast in gaining level and know wat to buy for ya hero. But i wasnt fast or know wat to buy coz i dun know which hero is good or the items avail in the shops which is useful. Played half life and CS oso.. i skipped the Xbox FIFA as i not keen and there are already 4 players so w/o me is ok. :D
